The SABC has reportedly banned a fish and chips commercial depicting President Jacob Zuma and his family having dinner.
The ad would have been aired on SABC on Monday night until February but it was pulled just two hours before it was scheduled to be flighted.
The animated commercial begins with the words "Dinner time at Nkandla" appearing over a picture of a mansion.
The indoor scenes depicts animated images of Zuma, several women and an extremely long dinner table, lined with children, and Zuma encouraging them to eat, because even Pravin would have approved of the meal's price.
The Star reports that the ad agency has been told the commercial is degrading to the president.
