Over 4 000 employees of South African Airways are expected to down tools on Thursday.
The SA Transport and Allied Workers Union has accused the national carrier of undermining wage negotiations.
Spokesperson, Vincent Masoga, says the union has rejected SAA's initial offer of a 6.23% increase.
He says SAA had implemented that offer even though workers were still considering it.
Masoga says they've now reverted to their initial demand of an 8.33% increase in salary, housing allowance, medical aid, and meal allowance.
