Russian, Chinese presidents arrive in SA

China's newly elected president, Xi Jinping and Russian president, Vladimir Putin have arrived in South Africa for a working visit.

The department of international relations says the two were welcomed by President Jacob Zuma.

On Tuesday, Jinping and Zuma will engage in talks at the Union Building in Pretoria, before signing trade agreements.

Jinping, Putin and Zuma will also attend the BRICS summit in Durban this week.
