The Road Freight Association says reports that it is planning to blockade roads in protest against the Gauteng e-tolling system, are unfounded.
Spokesperson, Gavin Kelly says the RFA is unable to determine the origin of rumours circulating on various electronic media that its planning a mass shutdown of the toll roads.
He says the association is, however, concerned about the implementation of the electronic tolling system, including issues around registration, collection and dispute processes.
The e-toll system is expected to start on April 30, when motorists will be charged for using major highways around Johannesburg and Tshwane.
