KwaZulu-Natal Premier Willies Mchunu had assured the public that the province is, and remains, stable after the resignation of former Premier Senzo Mchunu.
Speaking at a press briefing after he was sworn in on Wednesday, Mchunu said the province currently had a number of socio-economic developmental initiatives.
He said their priorities were still the same, despite the province getting a new premier.
The Democratic Alliance yesterday welcomed Mchunu’s appointment.
The DA’s Sizwe Mchunu said they would support Mchunu, provided he prioritised the province’s key issues. (ECR)
