Private investigator Paul O’Sullivan is expected to appear in the Pretoria Magistrate’s Court on Monday for allegedly contravening the Immigration Act.
O’Sullivan was arrested at the OR Tambo International Airport on Saturday, where he was scheduled to fly to England with his family.
O’Sullivan was reportedly found in possession of three passports. His legal team has reportedly dismissed the incident as a fabricated case against their client.
The private investigator has been involved in probing high profile criminal cases, including that of convicted Czech fugitive Radovan Krejcir and the conviction of police commissioner Jackie Selebi, who died while on medical parole.
