Price of petrol and diesel dropping at midnight

The price of petrol and diesel will decrease from midnight.

The Department of Mineral Resources and Energy says the fuel price adjustment is based on current local and international factors.

The price of petrol will drop by 13 cents a litre while all grades of diesel will come down by five-cent and paraffin by three cents a litre.

Energy Minister Gwede Mantashe says they will publish the fuel prices schedule for the different zones on Tuesday.
