The SA Post Office's board has resigned.
Eyewitness News reports that the announcement was made by Telecommunications and Postal Services Minister, Siyabonga Cwele during a media briefing at Sapo headquarters in Centurion, Pretoria late on Friday.
Post Office workers have been on strike for four months, calling for casual workers to be permanently employed.
Cwele said Sapo's problems had been there for a long time and were not started by the board.
The Minister said his department would work on stabilising the state entity.
He called for Sapo to enforce the no work, no pay principle, which he claimed had not been enforced across the board.
