Police uncover lab with dagga oil, seeds, plants and extracting equipment

The Narcotics Enforcement Bureau from the Hawks together with the Crime Intelligence unit have uncovered a clandestine dagga laboratory in Constantia, Cape Town.

During the search, police found cannabis oil, dagga plants, seeds as well as Cannabis extracting equipment and chemicals.

Police also confiscated R180 000 in cash on the scene.

Computers and lab equipment was also confiscated and will form part of this ongoing investigation.

The search was conducted on Monday in line with Section 22 (b) of the Criminal Procedure Act.

No arrests have been made.
