Paralympian Oscar Pistorius will have to wait another two weeks before he knows the decision of the Parole Review Board.
Pistorius was due to be released on parole in August to serve out the rest of his five year jail sentence under house arrest.
However, this was blocked by the Justice Minister Michael Masutha who felt the Board had acted prematurely when it decided in June to release Pistorius.
Masutha was also petitioned by a women’s rights group not to release him during Women's Month.
Saturday the Department of Correctional Services issued the following terse statement.
"As directed by the Chairperson of the Parole Review Board (PRB), the Department of Correctional Services can confirm that the PRB met to consider reviews on Friday 18 September 2015, but unfortunately could not finish the roll and had to postpone for two weeks, because that is the earliest possible date for members."
