Convicted killer Oscar Pistorius will be closer to learning when he will be released, as his parole hearing continues in Pretoria on Thursday.
eNCA reports that Kgosi Mampuru prison's parole board will meet to decide whether or not the Paralympian should be released on correctional supervision.
Pistorius was initially due to be released on August 21.
That was before he'd served a sixth of his five-year sentence for shooting and killing his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp.
However, Justice Minister Michael Masuthu stopped the process and referred the matter back to the parole review board.
Last week, the parole board said it wanted to consult Steenkamp's family over Pistorius's possible release.
