A Western Cape pastor has been arrested for allegedly trying to smuggle drugs at the Buffeljags correctional services centre in Swellendam.
Correctional services spokesperson, Simphiwe Xako says guards discovered dagga, Mandrax tablets and six sachets containing tik on him during a routine search before entering the prison over the weekend.
The pastor was granted access to prisons in the Swellendam area, as part of a spiritual rehabilitation programme.
