Paraglider found upside down

 A man was severely injured during a paragliding accident east of Hartebeespoort outside Pretoria on Sunday.

The man's paraglider apparently tangled on a rocky outcrop.

Netcare 911's Jeffrey Wicks says rescue workers found the man hanging upside down and in a critical condition, having sustained severe head and spinal trauma.
He was treated on the scene, immobilised and airlifted to Netcare Union Hospital.
