One of the accused in the Christopher Panayiotou murder trial - made a brief appearance in a separate court at the PE High Courts on Monday morning in connection with another murder in the city.
Sinethemba Nemembe was initially arrested for the murder of 78 year-old Denise Webber at her home in Kabega Park on the 20th of August last year.
Police also recovered household goods to the value of R150-thousand rand stolen from Webber, at the time of Nemembe's arrest.
He was subsequently also linked to the murder of Jayde Panayiotou.
Appearing in connection with the Webber murder, Nemembe's case was postponed to the 18th of April next year for pre-trial.
