Higher Education minister Blade Nzimande has dissolved the board of the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) with immediate effect. He also on Friday placed the scheme under administration.

Police in the North- West are requesting the public's assistance to help find a mother and daughter from Potchefstroom who are missing. Spokesperson Colonel Adele Myburg says 14-year-old Chailynn van Rensburg and her 41-year-old mother Carmen Noble were reported missing on the 21st of March.
