Gqeberha police have arrested two youths less than a week after they allegedly robbed congregants during a church service in New Brighton on Monday night last week. The incident, which saw those in attendance at Assemblies of God dive for cover as gunshots echoed through the church, left many worshippers traumatised.

The Hawks based in Polokwane in Limpopo pounced on an alleged firearm training facility at Modimolle on Thursday where they seized several licenced firearms. Spokesperson Warrant Officer Lethunya Mmuroa says they received a tip-off about facility and set up an multidisciplinary task team to investigate.
