Thirty-seven people were hospitalised on Wednesday night following an apparent food poisoning incident in Seawinds, on the Cape Flats.

Two suspects are expected to appear in the Durban Magistrates Court today for allegedly kidnapping a local businessman. Police Spokesperson Colonel Thembeka Mbele says four armed suspects kidnapped a 60-year-old man as he was leaving his business premises in July this year.
