Two Dutch nationals have been arrested at OR Tambo International Airport for being in the possession of a large quantity of the drug Khat.

Eastern Cape police say they have shot and killed a wanted cash-in-transit robbery suspect at Ngcolosi village in Tsolo on Thursday. Spokesperson to the provincial transport and community safety MEC, Makhaya Komisa, said the suspect allegedly started shooting at police first when a Tactical Response Team (TRT) arrived at a house the suspect was in.
