Almost all crimes in South Africa have shown drastic increases in the period between January and March this year, with more serious crimes like murder and rape showing increases of 22.2% and 13.7%, respectively.

President Cyril Ramaphosa says there's no basis for the claims made against him by former spy boss Arthur Fraser. Fraser is accusing the president of hiding a robbery at his Limpopo farm from the police and SARS.
