An alleged intruder at a Gauteng school was shot dead after the unknown man forced his way into the school and allegedly stabbed a teacher. The Gauteng Education Department says the deadly shooting incident took place on Friday at the Kagiso Senior Secondary School in Krugersdorp.

A grade 10 learner from a high school in Krugersdorp has been suspended after he was caught on camera assaulting a female learner. The incident took place on Tuesday at the Nic Diederichs High School.
