The National Union of Metalworkers of South Africa is holding its 25th Anniversary Rallies in the Eastern Cape, the Western Cape and Gauteng on Saturday.
Numsa says in a statement the rallies coincide with the annual Centenary celebrations of the African National Congress, and are aimed at building a strong, militant and revolutionary ANC that is committed in building a non-racial, non-sexist, and democratic society as envisaged in the Freedom Charter.
It says the rallies will be addressed by NUMSA President, Cedric Gina, Secretary-general, Irvin Jim, and leaders from COSATU, SACP, ANC and SANCO.
