Seven men who allegedly dumped human waste at Cape Town International Airport have been denied bail in the Bellville Magistrate's Court.
Magistrate Jannie Kotze ruled that it was not in the interest of justice to release the men because it was likely they would commit a similar offence again.
Among those behind bars are former ANC members, Loyiso Nkohla and Andile Lili.
However magistrate Kotze granted bail of R500 rand to 2 co-accused because of their medical conditions.
All the men are charged under the Civil Aviation Act, and face up to 30 years in prison if they are found guilty.
