Nine people, including four children, have been killed in a head-on collision on the N1 between Mokopane and Mookgophong in Limpopo.
The province’s transport and community safety department says it is suspected that the driver of a Toyota Venture lost control of the vehicle on Saturday morning and collided head-on with an oncoming truck.
Spokesperson, Mafenya Lediga says all the deceased were traveling in the Venture, including four children aged between two and 12.
He says a burst tyre was the possible cause of the accident.
