Civil rights NGO, Section 27 has accused the Department of Education of not obeying a court order to deliver textbooks in Limpopo, and is considering more legal action.
Section 27 lawyer, Nikki Stein says there is a possibility that the group will take the department back to court due to "significant noncompliance" with a previous court order.
The High Court in Pretoria ruled in May that the department provide textbooks to Limpopo schools by June 27.
Stein says 14 schools in Limpopoo had been randomly contacted and all said they had not yet received the textbooks.
