Western Cape / Northern Cape - N1 Route, ROAD CLOSED between Beaufort West and Richmond due to snow

Northern Cape - N12 Route, ROAD CLOSED between Victoria West and Three Sisters (N1) due to snow

Eastern Cape - N9 Route, ROAD CLOSED between Middelburg and Graaff-Reinet due to snow

Eastern Cape - R61 Route, ROAD CLOSED between Cradock and Graaff-Reinet due to snow and ice

KZN - N3 Route, no weather closures between Durban and Johannesburg, volumes are on the high side due to end of school holidays

Eastern Cape - NOTE: N6 Route, ROAD CLOSED between Queenstown and Aliwal North due to snow at Penhoek Pass
KZN - N3 Route, NOTE: there is NO snow at Van Reenens Pass, the road is open and flowing normally

TRAVEL ALERT: motorists should not expect or attempt to travel between Free State and Western Cape today - roads closed due to snow
