Police in Mpumalanga have launched a manhunt for the killers of a 56-year-old woman and her 34-year-old son during a robbery on a farm outside Mbombela on Saturday.
Spokesperson, Colonel Donald Mdhluli said according to information Emergency Services received a report around 18:30, about the incident at Valley farm.
He said they appeared to have “have been hit with an object” and were declared dead on the scene.
Mdhlui said the preliminary investigation revealed that several items were stolen from the house.
He identified the deceased as Anna-Marie Botha and Rohn Britz.
“The police management in the province is concerned about the senseless killings that take place in the farming sector and have strongly condemned this incident,” Colonel Mdhlui said.
