The mother of two toddlers found dead in the veld near Zonkizizwe, Katlehong, on the East Rand, has been arrested.
Lieutenant-Colonel Lungelo Dlamini says further investigations led police to arrest the mother of the two girls who were found dead
yesterday.
The woman is under police guard at the Natalspruit hospital but will be charged with murder.
It is suspected that the girls died of poisoning.
Post mortems were conducted earlier on Thursday, but the results are not yet available.
