A Mpumalanga woman has been arrested for allegedly killing her four children.
Police spokesperson, Brigadier Leonard Hlati, says the decomposed bodies of the children were found yesterday in Klarinet in Emalahleni.
He said their mother handed herself over to police.
The bodies two girls, aged four and eight and two boys, aged seven and 11 months, were found in the woman's two-bedroomed house.
There were no visible wounds and a post-mortem will be conducted to determine the exact cause of death.
Hlati said neigbours said they last saw the children at their home on December 26.
The 30-year-old woman would be charged with four counts of murder.
