A woman is fighting for her life in a Johannesburg hospital after she was shot multiple times in what seems to have been a family tragedy.
Netcare 911 says paramedics responded to a call from Jubillee Community Hospital in Hammanskraal.
A spokesperson said that reports from the scene indicate that the woman, a child and a father, were found shot at their home early on Wednesday morning.The man was declared dead on the scene while the child died in hospital.
A Netcare helicopter was used to airlift the critically wounded 30-year-old woman to trauma facility in Johannesburg.The shooting will be the subject of a police investigation.
