A Gqeberha family is desperately seeking the community’s assistance in tracing a 77-year-old man who went missing a week ago.
Alfred de Klerk’s family could not celebrate his 77th birthday this past Saturday since his disappearance last Monday.
Hi daughter, Shulandi, said her father, who resides in Shaheed Street in Extention 36, Bethelsdorp, left his home on Monday last week to visit his sister in Schauderville.
She said however, that he never arrived at his sister’s house and also did not return home.
“At the time of his disappearance her was wearing black pants, a cream jacket, black shoes, and a black hat,” she said.
The family searched around the area but was unable to trace him.
Police spokesperson Captain Sandra Janse van Rensburg implored anyone with information that can assist to find De Klerk is requested to contact the investigating officer, D/Warrant Officer Isaac Mitchell on 074 421 0384 or crime stop number 0860010111 or the nearest police station or MySAPS App.
