JOHANNESBURG, July 20 (ANA) - The Johannesburg school principal who was reported missing was found in a hospital on Friday, the Gauteng education department said.
Spokesperson Steve Mabona said the department was relieved that, the principal of Sandringham High School, was found at Charlotte Maxeke Academic Hospital on Friday.
"It is alleged that the said principal was knocked by a vehicle in Brakpan on 05 July 2018, and rushed to Charlotte Maxeke Hospital. He is in a critical but stable condition receiving necessary care in the ICU," Mabona said.
"We, are happy that he was found and also wish him a speedy recovery. Our prayers are with him and his family during this difficult time."
Gauteng Education member of the executive committee (MEC) Panyaza Lesufi will visit him on Monday.
