Two men from Mbombela are expected to appear in the Eerstehoek Magistrates' Court on Monday after human body parts were found in their possession.
Police spokesperson Brigadier Leonard Hlathi says the men aged 45 and 49 were arrested in Elukwatini on Sunday.
Police received information about a red Sedan driving around with body parts and intercepted the vehicle in an intelligence-driven operation.
Brigadier Hlathi says after the vehicle was thoroughly searched police discovered a leg, a knee and placenta which was allegedly collected from a specific house.
Police will now investigate where these body parts came from to identify the victim.
