Six foreign nationals and two South African women have been arrested after police seized drugs with an estimated street value of R60m in Pretoria.

Police spokesperson, Liuetenant-Colonel Lungelo Dlamini said police found the drugs and 11 kg of cocaine during a raid on homes in Centurion and Sunnyside.

He says police also seized two laptop computers in one of the houses believed to have been used in the so-called 4-1-9 scams.

The eight are due to appear in court on Friday.
