July (ANA) - Martinair, a subsidiary of Air France-KLM on Wednesday said the aircraft that crashed in South Africa's capital, Pretoria, on Tuesday was not operated by the airline.
One person died and 19 others were injured when the plane crashed near the Wonderboom airport.
"The aircraft was painted in Martin’s Air Charter (retro) livery, but is not operated nor owned by Martinair or Air France - KLM," the airline said in a statement.
"The Convair aircraft was destined for the Dutch aircraft museum Aviodrome at Lelystad Airport in the Netherlands."
South Africa's Civil Aviation Authority was investigating the crash.
