Gauteng police launched a manhunt for the gunmen who mowed down three men in Germiston on Friday.
Police spokesperson, Captain Kay Makhubele, said that the male victims were returning from a meeting when gunmen in another car opened fire on them as they approached the traffic lights in Webber Street.
He said they were declared dead on the scene.
Earlier, ER24 reported that one man was found in the middle of an intersection while the two other victims were still inside a car with fatal injuries.
Makhubele said police were investigating three cases of murder.
