Man who shoots ex in front of colleagues sentenced to 30 years

 An Mpumalanga man who shot dead his ex-girlfriend in front of her colleagues has been jailed for 30 years.

Twenty-five-year-old Steven Malumane was sentenced today for the murder of Cynthia Mashego, who was shot dead on the third floor of the Sanlam building in Mbombela last March.

Judge Monoa Teffo sentenced Malumane to 25 years' imprisonment for murder, 10
years for robbery with aggravating circumstances, seven years for possession of an unlawful firearm, and three years for possession of ammunition.

She also granted him leave to appeal.
