A man had been killed and another injured following a collision on the N2 near Mooiplaas.
Captain Nkosikho Mzuku says police were called to an accident reported on the N2 near Mooiplaas outside East London on Monday afternoon.
It's unclear what caused the crash, but police found two severely damaged vehicles on the scene.
A man in his 30's was found dead at the scene and another was rushed to hospital with serious injuries.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are not yet known and police are investigating a case of culpable homicide.
