Police in Cape Town arrested a 40-year-old suspect at a house in Milnerton on Wednesday after an assortment of drugs valued at over R18 million was found at his residence.
Police also found several illegal firearms and ammunition when they pounced on the house in Burcell Street in Tijgerhof, in Milnerton.
The suspect is expected to appear in court on Friday and more arrests cannot be ruled out.
Police confiscated crystal meth valued at R18.2. million, thousands of mandrax tablets valued at R442 500 and dagga worth R40 000.
Three pistols, a revolver and 13 magazines were recovered with 286 rounds of ammunition.
