A manhunt has been launched following the murder of a middle-aged woman who was found dead and without her head, Limpopo police said on Monday.
Police in Lulekani outside Phalaborwa in Limpopo the body of the woman was found in her bedroom by her family.
Initial investigations led to the deceased's two younger brothers being taken in for questioning, however, the motive behind the murder is still unknown.
According to Saps, the murder being related to a ritual killing may not be ruled out.
"The suspect(s) in this matter are still unknown and there has been no arrests.
