Five laptops possibly containing sensitive information, including data on investigations into Radovan Krejcir, have been stolen from Interpol's Pretoria offices.
Investigators indicated one of the laptops stolen belonged to an officer who was involved in George Louca's extradition to South
Africa from Cyprus, to stand trial for the murder of Teaser's strip club boss Lolly Jackson.
Other possible information on the laptops included secret witness lists and information linked to investigations into international crime syndicates.
The burglary happened over the weekend, with Interpol using offices seconded to them by police.
Meanwhile, the judge in Czech fugitive Radovan Krejcir's trial has expressed safety concerns following the discovery of a bread knife at court.
This followed the discovery of a knife in the presence of Krejcir and his lawyers in a consultation room on Monday.
The matter is being investigated.
Judge Colin Lamont is quoted by The Star as saying there is a matter that concerns his security, which is under investigation.
Lamont had also been told a kettle heating element was found previously in a parcel given to Krejcir at court.
