A taxi driver from Pinetown in KwaZulu Natal has gone missing after he told his wife he was going to Johannesburg but never arrived.
Police Spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Thulani Zwane says the 37-year-old Sizwe Ngcobo allegedly phoned his wife on the evening of the 23rd of March telling her he was on his way to Johannesburg.
The wife phoned him later and became worried when he did not answer his phone.
Zwane says the wife then called the tracking company to locate the vehicle and was told that it was stationed in Balfour in Mpumalanga.
A case of carjacking was opened at the Balfour police station and the vehicle recovered.
A missing person docket was opened at the Pinetown police station.
