Kgalema Motlanthe tops Limpopo and WC ANC nominations

The ANC in the Western Cape and Limpopo have nominated Kgalame Motlanthe as their preferred candidate to lead the ruling party for the next five years.

Both provinces also named Matthews Phosa as their preferred candidate for party deputy president.

Western Cape ANC chairperson, Marius Fransman, said those calling for change gained the vote by a slight margin.
