Joburg couple jailed for abusing their son

 A Johannesburg couple has been given a lengthy jail term for the abuse of their son which left him blind and brain-damaged.

Bradley Connor and Malinda Marshall were each sentenced to 10 years in jail in the Johannesburg Regional Court on Friday morning.

Connor and his ex-girlfriend were found guilty of assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm in November last year.

The two were 18 years old when they had their son Michael.
