Jeffreys Bay police are searching for three men following a home invasion in which a woman was assaulted over the head.
Police spokesperson, Captain Gerda Swart, said the incident happened in Drommedaris Street at about 03:30 on Saturday morning.
“It is alleged that three unknown males forcefully entered the premises and threatened the complainant (53) and her male friend (63).”
She said they assaulted the woman with an object over the head before taking an undisclosed amount of cash, jewellery and clothing before fleeing.
Swart said the woman was taken to hospital for treatment.
She said the Jeffreys Bay SAPS are investigating a case of house robbery.
