Garth Sampson of the SA Weather Services in Port Elizabeth, says an intense cold front will move into the Eastern Cape and central interior tomorrow, bringing with it very cold conditions and strong winds.
Rain and showers are predicted for the Eastern Cape with snowfalls over the Southern Drakensberg and other mountains in area.
On Sunday, snowfalls are possible over the Northern Drakensberg.
Sampson says there will be rapid clearance from the west on Sunday but that another cold system is expected to arrive on Monday, starting to clear towards Tuesday.
