Hunt underway for former football star's killers

Gauteng police said that they are investigating the murder of former Kaizer Chiefs football player, Mark Batchelor.

Colonel Lungelo Dlamini said he was attacked outside his house in Olivedale, Johannesburg, by two men on a motor-bike on Monday evening.

He said Batchelor was shot several times and died inside his motor vehicle.

The assailants fled without taking anything.

“The motive for the attack is still under investigation,” Colonel Dlamini said.
