Three Zambian men have been arrested for allegedly transporting drugs with an estimated street value of R43 million in Gauteng.
Police spokesperson, Captain Pinky Tsinyane says the men were arrested by the HAWKS on Saturday, after receiving a tip-off.
She says their truck was pulled over and searched, and police found a false compartment where bags full of Mandrax were hidden.
Tsinyane says the truck was apparently from Tanzania and had come through the Botswana Border.
The men, aged between 32 and 40, are expected to appear in Court soon.
