The so-called Horror House couple from Bloemfontein was arrested in Pretoria on Tuesday.
Police said that the couple, John and Chantel Deminey, aged 45 and 37, have been on the run since skipping their last court appearance in March in a sexual offences case.
Their names were released by the police to assist in tracking them down.
According to the police spokesperson, Warrant Officer, Lorraine Earle, the Deminey’s had been appearing before the Bloemfontein High Court until they were released on a warning.
Earle told Algoa FM News that an investigating officer will be traveling to Pretoria on Wednesday, to bring the couple back to Bloemfontein. She says the couple was spotted in a park in Pretoria by a person who recognised them from a viral post on social media.
Earle says they will appear in court in the next 48 hours.
