Three people have died on the R63 road in Alice on the Ngqele turn off after two vehicles collided, in yet another head-on crash in the Eastern Cape.
Both vehicles were traveling from the opposite directions.
Eastern Cape transport department spokesperson Unathi Binqose said both vehicles involved in the crash were Toyota Corrolas.
One had one male occupant traveling from the Middledrift side while the another one had two male foreign nationals coming from Alice.
They collided head-on.
All occupants from both vehicles died on the scene.
Binqose said reckless and the negligent driving has been pointed out as the main contributing factor.
