Growing outrage at murder of Bafana Bafana captain

Tributes are pouring in from across the political, sporting and social spectrum for slain Bafana Bafana and Orlando Pirates goalkeeper Senzo Meyiwa.
The howls of outrage and shock are being led by President Jacob Zuma who said the country had lost an outstanding leader, cut down in the prime of his career.
The 27 year-old Bafana captain was shot and killed at a house in Vosloorus at around 8 o'clock on Sunday night.
Media reports suggest that he was shot through the back when he tried to protect actress and singer Kelly Khumalo after two unknown men entered the house.
A third suspect waited outside and they all fled on foot after the shooting. No-one else was injured.
Police have offered a reward of R150 000 for information leading to the arrest of the suspects.
Safa - Nelson Mandela Bay President Monde Mhletywa said it was a sad day for the sport, but equally unfortunate that there was always an outcry when celebrities were affected by crime.
" It is something where we all need to hold hands and fight together when it happens to anybody not just a celebrity. In Football we have lost a great captain and a good goal keeper. We hope our government will do something about this" he said
National Police commissioner Riah Phiyega is expected to brief the media on Monday.
